For teams with sprawling internal documentation
AI chatbot for internal docs — Notion, Confluence, Drive
Your team has 800 Notion pages, 300 Confluence articles, and a Drive folder no one's organized in 2 years. The information is there; nobody can find it. An Ashh internal bot is "ask the wiki in English" — answers from your real content, with citations.
Connects to where your docs already live
Native integrations for Notion, Confluence, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, GitHub. Your team doesn't move documents into Ashh — Ashh reads from where they are.
Internal-only by default
Bot lives behind your workspace authentication. SSO (Google Workspace, Okta, Microsoft Entra). Only authenticated team members can chat with it. Audit log captures who asked what.
Citations + source links
Every answer links back to the source doc. "From the engineering handbook, page 42: …" — clickable, opens the source page so the team member can read the full context.
Permissions-aware
If a Notion page is restricted to a specific group, the bot only surfaces it to team members in that group. No leaking of HR docs to engineers, no leaking of pricing strategy docs to support.
Questions teams with sprawling internal documentation ask
How does it handle our Notion / Confluence permissions?+
On the Team tier, the bot inherits each visitor's workspace permissions. Engineer asks about HR policy → bot says "you don't have access to those docs." This requires the integration to be set up with per-user OAuth, not a service account.
Will my docs be used to train AI models?+
No. Never. Ashh's default is open-weight models on our own GPUs — your docs go into our database, never out. If you BYOK a cloud model (Claude, GPT-4o), the provider sees the retrieved chunks but their commercial API terms typically prohibit training on API inputs. Use the privacy-strictest model if you're concerned.
What about real-time sync?+
Nightly by default. Pro+ can configure faster sync (hourly or webhook-triggered) for the Notion/Confluence integrations. Drive is webhook-triggered automatically.
Can different teams have their own bot?+
Yes. Team tier supports workspaces — engineering bot trained on engineering docs, sales bot trained on the sales playbook, etc. Each team controls their bot's knowledge.
Will the bot leak confidential information?+
It can only surface what its knowledge base contains. If a doc is in the bot's sources, it can quote it. If you have docs that should never be quoted, don't add them to the bot's source list. Audit log shows every retrieval so you can verify.

Free tier is genuinely free. No card required to ship a bot.
